7. Update on the Usage of SAP Solution Manager 7.2

SAP has announced changes to the maintenance commitment of SAP Business Suite. SAP Solution Manager 7.2 follows the approach of the SAP Business Suite 7.
• Mainstream maintenance for SAP Solution Manager 7.2 is now ensured until the end of 2027.
• For customers who choose the optional extended maintenance for the SAP Business Suite 7 (until end of 2030) will receive extended maintenance or SAP Solution Manager 7.2 at no additional cost.
Focused Build and Insights are included in the usage rights of SAP Solution Manager since January 2020. They have the same maintenance conditions as SAP Solution Manager. Focused Run is not affected by the announcement and has its own release and maintenance schedule.
